At Osaka University, the university-wide IT authentication infrastructure service manages role-based attributes such as Teaching Assistant (TA) positions by linking them with a Role ID. This allows the system to manage two types of IDs internally in an associated manner.

As a general rule, a Role ID is used to clearly define the scope of authority for a given role. On the CLE (Collaborative Learning Environment), it is registered as a separate account from the student account.
For management and security purposes, Osaka University issues a Role ID for TAs to distinguish it from the personal student ID. When performing TA duties, it is appropriate to use the account associated with this TA Role ID.
Accounts linked to a Role ID can be referenced as Role IDs. Therefore, please confirm the Role ID with the relevant TA and register the corresponding account as a TA in the course.
