[Tests]
Instructors can now add feedback to each option in multiple-choice questions.
When "Option Feedback" is enabled, a text box for entering feedback appears below each option.
Enabling "Option Feedback" disables the "Automatic Feedback" option.
If the instructor has enabled "Show Automatic Feedback" in the assessment results section within the assessment settings, students will receive feedback for each option.
[Tests]
Instructors can now lock specific answer choices in multiple-choice questions to fixed positions.
This ensures that while other choices are displayed randomly, the locked choices remain in their designated positions.
This is useful for options like "None of the above" or "All of the above," which should always appear at the end of the list.
To lock an option, enable "Randomize answer choices" in the assessment settings, then select the lock icon next to the desired option.
Locked options remain in their set positions during randomization, while only the other options are shuffled.
If students have not yet submitted, the lock can be removed at any time during question editing.Select the lock icon next to the option to unlock it.
[Rubrics]
To improve rubric usability, the rubric lock feature has been removed when overwrite or automatic zero grading is set.
The message previously displayed under "Submissions" stating "For assessments with multiple submissions, only the final grade can be overwritten. Individual submissions are graded with the rubric." has been removed.
The label previously shown as "Submissions" has been changed to "Rubric Score."
Scores overwritten in the grade pill are immediately reflected in the submission grades.
In discussion boards and journals, the rubric grade pill can now be edited directly to adjust the score calculated by the rubric.
The message previously shown under "Submissions" stating "This submission's grade has been overwritten." has been removed.
Scores overwritten in the grade pill are immediately reflected in the submission grades.
[Announcements]
Instructors can now see whether each student has read or not read each announcement in the newly added "Announcements" tab on the student's overview page. This allows tracking of viewing status per student in addition to the existing announcement viewer functionality.
If a student has viewed an announcement, the "Read" column displays the "View Date and Time"; if not viewed, it shows "--".
[Other Improvements]
- Grading actions in completed Original courses are now restricted to read-only. After a course is marked as completed, instructors cannot change grades, overwrite scores, or add feedback.
